Probably the nicest campsite we have stayed at in France. Shade or sun.very clean facilities, super showers with massage sprays and constant water. No pressing a button for more water! Restaurant was great, we ate there for 3 of our 4 nights. Lots to do. Cycling along canal path, walking up cliffs, saw lots of butterflies including a white admiral. Bird life included a close encounter with a peregrine. Visited vezelnay- you can spend a whole day there in the cathedral and art galleries and brocante. Really friendly site- free canoe use, local Aire for kids to play. Highly recommended.

5 stars for the wonderful camping and owners who make everyone who is reasonable welcome . A breath of fresh air in all senses of the word in how to run a peaceful, beautiful camping with a great restaurant. Great cycling routes along the canal, beautiful scenery, 2 tennis courts where you can play for free and kayaks also provided. Chapeau!

A lovely quiet campsite in an idyllic location next to the Yonne with great walks or bike rides along the canal/river. A lovely site restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. Fresh bakery produce and a small shop on the site. Staff made us feel very welcome and did everything to make our stay memorable. We will be back.

As always we were warmly welcomed by the owners and found the facilities well up to standard. Nothing is too much trouble. Wi-fi was good and electric hook- up kept us warm and bright over Christmas. The restaurant now has its first star with an innovative menu. Dogs are welcome and there are lovely walkies by the canal . Couldn’t wish for better.

This is the third campsite we have stayed at on our journey around Europe. It is very quiet, which is a bonus. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food and wine (which was a godsend when we arrived at the start of some heavy rain and were soaked through!). The showers were the best showers we have had, very powerful and hot with plenty of space to get dressed afterwards without getting everything wet. There is also a lovely little shop on the site that sells delicious local wine. We intend to stay for a good few nights and explore the surrounding area, for example the Grottes d'Arcy and local châteaus too.

Great wee campsite in a fantastic location. Comfortable and clean facilities, especially the individual shower rooms/toilets which are very welcome after a cold day out. Generous breakfast in the cosy restaurant, well priced, kind owners. Would recommend! PS: I'd like to apologise on behalf of the idiot in our group who contacted the campsite owners after a mishap last weekend. She's bloody clueless; someone else will be in touch with you guys and all will be settled. Sincerest apologies.
