I studied at Accent Français for 5 months during the COVID pandemic. In my opinion, the classes were very well organized even in the face of emerging restrictions. One month of my course was forced into virtual only mode, however the team @ accent did well to adapt to the situation. Surely missed out on the chance to go out and do many activities during my stay (thank you 2020) but I made some very good progress on the language front.

I did an internship here to improve my French and get experience in work life abroad and I really enjoyed it and learned a lot! The collegues were very nice and welcoming and I had varied tasks in French and English. I also got to experience the lessons at school and found everything very well-organised and student focused. I met many international students so it was easy to integrate. It was a great experience and I am glad I had the opportunity!

Without telling my real name, here is what I can tell you about this French school. I studied here for 3 weeks last year and my course package included private lessons too. The private lessons are horribly organized and the guy giving lessons was always eager to finish them off as soon as possible. The classes are really poorly organized and the teachers do not pay any attention at all to students. I found that in my class some students had a very high skills level and the others were very low. For accommodation, the homestay option was extremely overpriced, the house was dirty. Apart from forcing their unpaid interns to post fake positive reviews, this institute is really not good for anything. If you want to learn French and learn it seriously then there are much better options out there in the city of Montpellier.

I think I have understood how this school gets such nice reviews. I am an extremely dissatisfied client of them and instead of resolving my problems these people have threatened me with a police complaint if I continue to post any negative reviews about this school. Well, they cannot put a muzzle on my freedom of speech. I came to this school with so much hope and I booked their standard French course with exam preparation. From day one, I had problems with my accommodation and when that got fixed, I caught their staff members making fun of me and when I complained to the school management, the director simply started ignoring me and in reverse falsely accused me.I stopped going to their classes because of how badly they were organized. The teachers spend their time chit chatting with their favorite students, and the quality of the teaching here is atrocious at best. This combined with the toxic and unapologetic attitude of the staff that works here makes everything worse. Long story short, I lost a huge amount of money on this school and these people refused to even refund me a single penny. I lost money on my standard course, my exam preparation course and everything else on top. And when I try to express my opinion on the internet, they send me threats. Amazing school right? 22 years of experience and best French school. Wow. To a more serious note, I will always for my entirety of my life regret coming here, not only because of the financial loss but also the emotional and psychological damage these people have caused me. I would not even recommend this school to the worst of my enemies.Edit, as any person reading this can see, this school not only is unapologetic about their behavior but is also confirming I cannot even express myself on other platforms about my own experience. See how they become victims after mistreating me and then are trying to muzzle me. I'm just out of words.

I came to Accent Français for my gap year after high school in order to improve my French and to be immersed in the country's culture. These current times in France have been quite restrictive due to Covid-19, but thankfully the attentive staff and amazing teachers have made a smooth transition to distance-learning. I still hope to eventually come back to the excellent in-person experience!

I didn't know a word in French before i got here. It has been 2 weeks and i can say i developed more than i expected. Everyone is so nice and considering both in school and home. I really recommend the intensif course. Also I chose one of the accommadation options the school offering and best decision ever. Mérci pour tout!
