A nice place to get your fruits veggies flowers in the AM And a resting place midday. Many buy their lunch and eat there. Kids play too.

The heart of Montpellier is calm and zen. If you have arrived from the big city you now need to adjust. Breath. The pace of life here is less. No need to rush... Being a little late is actually being on-time.. ... Also, within a minute's stroll of each other you will find the tourist office, the Fabre museum, a photo exhibition centre, cafes, restaurant, tabac, ATM, an open air antiques and/or book fair, a tree-shaded picnic park with a ducky pond, a theatre, a film festival, depending on time of year there's Les Estivales (food and wine) or the Christmas market (food and wine) or, if you're lucky, a food and wine fair of regional yummies.
