Booked my partner in for group snowboard lessons in Morzine. She had never snowboarded before and it was important to me she learnt well and enjoyed it! MINT were fantastic, easy to book and the instructor was incredibly patient. Only 5 people in the group lessons and she was happily riding blues by day 4... result! Highly recommend these guys for beginner snowboard lessons in Morzine or Avoriaz.
Was recommended these guys by a friend. So glad I looked them up whilst in Morzine, had a couple of absolutely amazing private lessons with Gerard. Total Legend! Would highly recommend MINT to anyone wanting to improve their snowboarding skills.
If you want you or your family to learn to snowboard, look no further! THANK YOU MINT! I'm not sure where to start thanking Mint for everything they did for us last week. I was going to book my 3 year old Lily on just one or 2 lessons, but they found another little boy to learn with her out in Morzine, so offered 4 days of lessons - which made me nervous as I was worried it would be too much for her...Well I didn't need to be nervous at all. They had 4x1.5 lessons together and loved EVERY SECOND! The feeling of riding alongside her on just her 1st day back down to the chairlift was incredible - I didn't imagine they would be able to do so much and so fast! What's more, she had the biggest grin on her face the whole time, and was so excited to go up the mountain each day for her lessons. Anna, you are an incredible teacher! So happy and friendly, and the little ones loved you! Lily wasn't nervous about me going off at all, she was so happy with Anna, and waved me off, then off she went up on the chairlift! She's been talking about it since and already wants to go back for more.... and after meeting Tammy in Tamworth last year too, she loves you all! So thank you - we can't recommend you enough! What's more, being in Avoriaz it's the perfect playground for them to learn in the mountains. See you next year!
My 2 boys (12 & 14) had a couple of lessons with Jorge during our trip. It was there 2nd time snowboarding and they had a wonderful time, really progressed and grew in confidence. Jorge was fun and after a couple of hours had them scaring me doing jumps at the snow park!! I would highly recommend.
I went on the week-long MINT Technical Performance Camp in Morzine/Avoriaz to improve my fledgeling snowboarding. I had a really great experience with the MINT coaches I encountered. The camp is extremely well organised and people can be moved from one group to another if required, depending on their skill level and needs. My coaches were Jorge and Gerard, and I couldn't have been happier with their instruction and coaching styles. Everyone I hung out with from the MINT team in the bar/at dinner were really friendly and fun people. The arrangement with Treeline Chalets for airport transfers, accommodation and food is excellent and it was the best chalet experience I've had so far. I started the week as a not-quite-beginner, not-yet-intermediate and by the end of it I was boarding with so much more fluency, confidence and technique than I could have envisaged, definitely got out of the experience more than I had expected. One initial concern was that as a 32-year old I would be attending a camp full of teenagers/the gap year crowd, but I was informed by the MINT team prior to booking that the age ranges mostly between 25 and 60-something, and this was exactly what I found - a great group of people of all ages to spend a week with as a solo traveller (the vast majority of people here were also solo travellers). I would recommend this camp for anyone from absolute beginner to more advanced and I will certainly be returning for another week next season.
We have had lessons with Mint three times now. Most recently we did the technical performance week with Iban, the course included off-piste riding, freestyle, carving and general instruction on riding technique. If you are an intermediate rider this course will really improve your riding.
Our kids had a fantastic week of snowboarding lessons with Mint Snowboard School earlier this year in Les Gets. They really improved at a much greater rate than we had hoped and their instructor was a big part of them having such a great week on the slopes. It was an easy choice to go back to Les Gets and book snowboard lessons for the kids with Mint again for our ski holiday in 2019. Highly recommend this school!
