One of the most famous European resort in French Alpes for winter's popular activity skiing. It's located in the very heart of the mountain set. Very nice and cute village with hi-tech equipment for those who like skiing. At "out of season" time it's also quite pleasant place inhabited mainly by the English.

We loved Morzine! We stayed 3 nights. It was harder to get to from Milan than we expected due to traffic on Mt Blanc, however there is a live traffic report Mount Blanc Tunnel that you can google which tells you peak times for that day. The only negative was all four of us received gastro after having lunch at a cafe in the town. Despite that we would still go back.
Amazing resort, have been coming back years now. Picturesque village, historic, as Pleney was the second slope to open in the world after Chamonix and great family facilities. There is a creche for babies from 2 months old and the ski school offers classes and meals for kids from 3.5 years old. Finally the slopes of Morzine - Les Gets area cover an extensive set of options, peaks and slopes for every taste and most importantly, easy to ski between them. Of course there is always the sister resort of Avoriaz which is also a getaway to the rest of the Portes du Soleil, offering over 600km of slopes
Morzine, I’m reviewing a town. I love Morzine, it’s always lovely and great for families with kids. Winter and Summer you’ll always find stuff to do in Morzine. The tourist office has loads of information for you and they would love for you to pop by. The restaurants in Morzine are some of the best in the region, from fast-food to gourmet you’ll find everything you need.
