Nicely laid out museum but a let down with translation. There is a written guide but does not cover the exhibits. I think for the money it could be better. Surely it wouldn't take much??

The history of the Breton Resistance and its achievements through a difficult time with lots of memorabilia. Some videos were subtitled in English but no translations in English, had to follow a printout ( no audio). Outside exhibition of defences/guns but vehicle section closed.

Really fascinating insight into the history and lives of the French resistance who actually fought (and died) in the woods of the museum. The exhibition is largely in French, but a book is provided for non French speakers. Lots of original war memorabilia and artefacts. A good rainy day visit.

Staff were friendly and gave us a English translation book for the museum as it was all in French. This meant I spent a lot of time just reading and not looking at all the displays. The 3 film's being shown were supposed to have English subtitles, unfortunately the first film was the only one with subtitles. Disappointed as all the museum pieces had explanations only in French.

Interesting and moving to realise what happened in Saint Marcel and sadness at the loss of life.

Fascinating. One of the best museums I've been too. Highly recommended.

Great museum but could do with an update on info sheets as they are unreadable on the outside ....
