I am always in awe of the architectural work of the cathedrals and churches in Europe. This cathedral in Nantes is in the gothic tradition. Construction began in the early 1400 century And was not completed until late 1800. In 1862, it was listed as the monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.
Gorgeous. The archways are intricately details. The columns are awesome. It gives of Very nice and inviting feeling. Nice to go in for mass or just to sit with your thoughts or prayers. Very beautiful and inspiring.

Looks old and new at the same time
Such fine details on the outside of the cathedral. I was very amazed by the perfectly symmetric architecture. A cathedral with immersive value of art and perfection. A stunning piece of architecture!
This Cathedral is beautiful and very big. You can see it from very far away and it is very close to the Castle in Nantes.
