Excellent museum, a must see on your trip to Nice.

Fun little museum. Nothing spectacular but interesting to see. As with all archeological sites, it’s mostly stones, so you depend on the descriptions and pictures for context. These are quite limited and All text is in French only. Bit of a missed opportunity, more potential to this site / museum.

Not a whole lot to see, but pretty interesting. Be sure to pick up a printed guide (available in several languages) as you exit the museum to see the ruins. Very informative and key to enjoying the ruins.

We were so grateful to have come to this Museum. A modest yet wonderful collection & a hands-on taste of Roman History. Make sure to check out the basement level. For Anglophones there are no translations inside, but a laminated English printed guide you can borrow and follow along outside for the ruins. My Canadian-education French levels were enough to get by, with the occasional word looked up w/ my downloaded GoogleTranslate app. Highly recommend a visit if you are interested in history. A few of the indoor exhibits are interactive for little ones as well. In my opinion, it was well worth the 10 each for us for the day pass. There is no option for paying just for one site - no matter what you’re getting the day pass with access to the other museums. I believe this would have been included in the 26 French Riviera Côte d’Azure tourist pass as well. With our day pass we went to the Matisse museum next door, and that afternoon the Modern & Contemporary Art Museum too. Wonderful value, all included in the day pass.

Nice archaeologycal site. It's a part of Nice museum pass and I definitely recommend seeing it. There could be more things explained in English (a lot of the exhibition is only in French).

Verry nice museum to go to with kids, really shows the history behind the city. Nice items on display, the exhibition is maybe a bit old school.
