Nice campsite. Well maintained pool, restaurant, children's play area etc. Reasonably friendly staff, green areas, lots of trees and shade. But hugely let down by shocking sanitary block facilities that don't match the high standards elsewhere on site. For the price paid, and the reputation of the brand, an old dilapidated sanitary block with missing tiles, grotty and sparse shower and toilet facilities is not acceptable at all. No temperature control on showers, infrequent cleaning, no bins, a decade of dead insects in light fittings etc. Would think twice about returning to Capfun when other companies do so much better.
Expensive especially if one travels by tent and not in a camper. Sanitary facilities old and not well maintained/cleaned. Pitches are too close and no separation. It feels as if everyone literally sits AT each other. The ground is so hard that its almost impossible to get a peg into it. WiFi only in restaurant area. Staff at restaurant not very attentive, I waited 15 minutes before getting served. Waved a couple of times. Then got asked to leave if I don’t eat dinner. (Drank something before and had a dessert). Disappointing!
-louzy cleaning service (showers ,laundry and dishes area was a disgrace) -they claim no cars after 22H, but my kids were repeatedly woken after 22h by a car entering the domain -middle of the high season, they found it necessary to work on the terrain with heavy machinery, in order to get power supply to that part of the domain. -French Fries aren't supposed to be soggy and brown.
You should visit the place with friends or kids. Its a fun just to be there. Water is the pool is clean and you can have snacks, food and drinks when you want
It is open throughout the year,- thus in winter the only possible site around to stay a night coming from Spain or going there. Very near the French motorway! We know the site only from our overnight stays in winter! However, for a visit of the Roman Arena in Nimes, or the Pont du Gard, which is a must see! - this site is a cheap stop for caravans or motorhomes. The toilets , however, need improvement!!! The showers and washing facilities are medium, yet very warm in winter! There is a bus stop just outside the site!
Nice, midsize camping featuring clean and modern mobile homes and a few tent and camper/caravan pitches. Nice swimming area with multiple heated pools and fun waterslides.
We stayed here in a camper, the pool is great even tho it wasnt heated but thats ok. Bus out the front. Lady in the Bar was really friendly towards us even tho we didnt speak french( Australian) we would stay here again no worries at all. Great to visit the beautiful town of Nimes
