Many would say that this is the best place to view the Eiffel Tower. After climbing 284 steps, you not only get a great panoramic view of the city, but also the Eiffel Tower from an ideal height of around 50 meters above ground level. The best time to climb the tower is an hour before sunset as you get to see the Eiffel Tower glow in the dark blue sky.

We visited the Triumphal Arch and we really liked the view. Even at that moment it seemed better to climb the Triumphal Arch than the Eiffel Tower. Definitely a recommendation if you are in Paris, be sure to visit!

It is a very impressive and elegant monument, but it is not as imposing as we see in many films. Still, it is beautiful up close and in a way exciting to be in a world symbol of one of the world's capitals. It is in the middle of a roundabout of several important routes, among them the Champs Elyseés, so you will probably pass by here, so it is worth a jump here!

Great place to visit. The photos actually do not do this structure justice. Taking the stairs to the top was a challenge, but the view was definitely a great payoff! We weren't planning on visiting but we're glad we did. Having no designated safe space for photos is both dangerous and cool at the same time...taking a photo with fear of being run over...lol

Another great place to visit in Paris. I love the walk from the Champs Elysees to the end of the road with all shops in between. The Arc looks spectacular and you can go to the top of it and get a great view of the city. Just hang out and watch people crossing the roundabout all round the day. You get clean restrooms inside the Arc

Arc de Triomphe is beautiful. It’s very nice piece of history. You can also go on top and experience Paris from that height. I also liked actual shopping area around it. Beautiful cobble stone roads leading to beautiful stores. Architecture done on this monument is amazing. You can’t miss it when in Paris.

This is one of my favorite places in Paris and one that surprised me the most. The exterior is beautiful but the real pay off is the terrace on top. It's about 300 steps up a spiral staircase to the top but the climb is doable for most. The views from the top are spectacular and a great place to get photos of the city with the Eiffel Tower in them.

It has a height of 50 m. It was built between 1806 and 1836 by order of Napoleon. Initially Napoleon wanted it to be built in the Bastille Square. Its design is inspired by the Arch of Titus in Rome (80 AD). Inside the Arch there is a museum that explains its history and construction, the entrance fee is 13 euros, I don't know if it's worth it, since the magnificent thing about the Arch is precisely its exterior design..... If you are looking for good views, save these euros and go to the Eiffel Tower.
