I have been in the mood for Moroccan good and this restaurant hit the spot. Not to be confused with the nearby French restaurant, which was quick to point that out when I originally left this review for them. The waiter served potatoes and olives while I decided on what to order. They were quite flavorful and the olives were spicy. I enjoyed the Moroccan soup, Harira, which was chick peas, lentils and rice with cilantro and parsely served with dates on the side. The waiter convinced me to have the half bottle of Morrocan red wine. Which at 1st sip I was not impressed but did grow on me throughout the meal. For the main course I had the tangine with apricots which was served with coucous. The lamb was tender and the over all dish was delicious. The meal ended with complimentary tea. I would return.

Very clean and tidy. I love the design on the walls and ceiling. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable.

Friendly staff and good food, but a tad pricey.

L'Atlas is an institution. Their cooking is of the highest quality, always has been. The ingredients are top-notch and the staff is very welcoming. They are not overly cheap, though, be warned.

Worst reception I've ever had in my entire life. I asked the menu, and the waiter, who didn't speak English, told me I could've looked at it at the door where he, very annoyed, escorted me to to show it and asked if I wanted to order. He clearly didn't understand what I was saying, but he also didn't try. This level of rudeness in well rated restaurant was not only unexpected but also totally unnapropriate. Of course I left. Update 2 months later (replying to Atlas): I uploaded a picture of the menu OUTSIDE Restaurant L'Atlas, which I was shown on the way out. Because I look young and I asked the menu before sitting, he probably thought I was concerned with the prices.

Beautiful North African / Moroccan decors. The first impression is great. Then comes the waiter. And that starts ruining everything: being friendly is not part of their duties! When you seat they bring you olives (both green and black are to die for!), then you wait to order. When the order in taken (yes, I know it's not fun working while others are dining), the food comes. We ordered couscous. Not the best in a city where you can find restaurants serving couscous almost every other street. They give a serving of semolina and bye bye, they don't leave the dish on the table - unlike all their competitors. And don't expect a second serving: no one shows up for that. When it come to pay, they eventually bring you the check and wait again to get the change: they're too busy talking to each other. Don't go there: the 3* are mostly for the decors.
