An explosion of flavor, if you are lucky enough to be seated at the counter, you will be able to see the cooks working, and discuss with them about the preparation of the dishes, all as tasty as each others. A selection of amazing wines.Very nice address, warm and attentive service.

Rude. Bad service. Long waits between drinks and course. Food is distinctly average. Save your money and go to a kebab stand in the Marais.

Wow, this place is energetic, fun, and fantastic food to boot. Our group numbered 6 people, so the table had a taste of most dishes. Starters named “A plate for the brave” and mains named “Paul the Octopus” and “Tiny Bikini” are a hint to the range of choices and fun. We let the wait staff make a lot of our choices. Service was prompt, and supported by multiple people. On the fun side, 2/3 of the way through our dinner, the music got loud and (more) lively. For about 10 minutes, patrons and the wait staff both sang and danced. You felt like you were at a friends dinner party. Fun on all sides. Dinner options had elements of the middle-east, Spain, and of course French. Higher end wines were included on the wine list. Our non-wine bill totaled 450. For the group of 6, we had 8 starters, mains, and 6 desserts as our priority was to sample as much as possible. On the desserts, the “crushed snickers” was the best - despite being named after a candy bar.... more of a nutty brownie, with fresh cream, a toffee flavored sauce, and a memorable presentation.

New in Paris, brilliant food, mesmerizing atmosphere, food if very sophisticate & well executed! It's a must try! It sure feels like the best party in town, beautiful people and great music. Chef Granite & chef Dan creates a cozy must visit spot for Middle-eastern/Mediterranean top-notch food! Every single dish challenges you taste-buds! Well done,Chef & Good Luck!

Enjoyed my Saturday luncheon. Strong recommendation if you are shopping in the area. Lovely young team. Great atmosphere. Relax music. 3 course lunch starts around 29 Euro which is really good for this central location

I had a great impression after visiting a restaurant balagan ! (by the way, the name fully describes what is happening inside). I tried Israeli cuisine for the first time, in such an interesting and modern serving. You usually think that the Israeli cuisine is falafel and hummus, but in the balagan the Israeli cuisine is revealed more extensively and diversely. Each dessert is served in unusual manner. When you order one of them you are asked to guess all the ingredients and if you get a surprise. or dessert \snickers\ pours directly on the table! Very friendly and cool staff worked with us, all the guys are great! they really recommend the most delicious dishes. In general, the atmosphere there is very funny and unusual, national music plays, and in the evening crazy dances begin. almost all dishes are veggie! the menu is well designed, because of this it is easy enough to make a choice to your liking. I recommend to everyone who is looking for something new from traditional food.

We’ve been to this place many times. Used to be awesome but they’re turning it into a cash cow. Wait management was terrible (we arrived for our reservation on time, table wasn’t ready so we got told to wait at the bar but -hey- bar was full so we got seated in the empty silent hotel lobby for 20 min without a single drink. Nicely told the service manager we were a bit surprised - she told us she « understood our opinion » and left). Starters were delicious to be honest (awesome bread, delicious babaganoush) and waiters as usual super friendly. But mains were very disappointing (super thick octopus, overcooked cutlets). We left with a slightly bitter taste. Overall - not as good as it used to be, Balagan is resting on its great past reputation.

What a pleasant surprise! The food was very good - creative, delicious and well done. Service was very friendly and the interior was nicely done. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!
