Very efficient service with good communication in English and French. The rates are excellent, and give far more value for money than money changers in touristy areas of Paris. Would highly recommend going to CEN.

I've used this bureau many times, but the last time I bought British Pounds (GBP) I was given three pounds of one pound coins that were no longer valid requiring me to change them at the bank in the UK. I am aware that they are aware of changes to currencies, especially one as widely used as GBP, so the transaction was deliberate and in bad faith. Response to owner: There was no confusion on my part as I have only used this bureau de change to exchange money in the past, and a poor response on the part of the business to put the responsibility on the customer. I went to pay for something at a shop in London with the coins you provided, and was told that they were the old pound coins and had to change them at a UK bank for the new coins.
What they said is true!! Most places charge up to 25%! This place has less than a 3% currency exchange charge. Best deal I have found in Paris!

Great exchange rate around 5% difference compare to actual exchange rate! Just be careful and secure your money before exiting as the neighbourhood isnt that safest.
