Our absolute favorite restaurant in Paris! The wait staff is wonderful! We really enjoy these guys: fastidious, friendly, fun. No frills, absolutely tasty, excellently prepared food! Spicy tomato condiment that is great on everything but is best with merguez! I wish I could eat here every day! Couscous that's lighter than air!
Well, if you are Algerian you would not get a very unpleasant welcoming. The waiters are very rude. I went there with my Hungarian friend, just wanted him to taste the Algerian food. Even he noticed how rude they are. You are giving a very bad image of Algeria. Sometimes I feel ashamed that you are Algerian, you do not represent us. Fix yourselves!
Very noisy, which ruined the experience and quality of the food. They make people wait in line right next to your table, see pictures, chatting loudly. Also, to optimize the place, and make more money obviously, every table is almost stuck to the other one, so it becomes complex to go to the bathroom or even leave the restaurant, this place is to crowed. It’s disappointing because the food is delicious, but due to their good reputation they don’t make anymore effort, classic star syndrome ! Also the service wasn’t great, especially regarding one of the waiter. Stop going there, it will make them reflect on the service.
the location is nice, unfortunately it ends here, the price is way to high for the quality of the food, we where in 3 with 3 different starters and mains the tomatoes (its summer) taste like water, so the cheapest you can get, the chicken .... I don't remember when I tasted something so teastless unhealthy you feel its the lowest quality of meet, the French fries the mergues the ratatouille .... i could just continue, I haven't ben to this place in years - it used to be an inn location back in time, I regret having spent a cent there, even felt bad in the stomach all night
Best Maghreb food in Marais. Genuine food in a genuine environment.
Great place to have some couscous, but generally speaking everything we tried was delicious! Very authentic place, with a beautiful, classic interior. Warning: no credit cards accepted, and they don't do take away for leftover (their portions are pretty big). Definitely recommend!
Every visit to Paris has to have a great Couscous.
