This company is terrific. The scooters are great and are not glorified advertisements for the company, so you feel like a local as opposed to a tourist on an obvious rental. The service is simple and effective. Costs are low as the company uses online and phone bookings and meeting points rather than a physical boutique on the street, this is all explained clearly. Instructions are helpful and easy to understand. Phone service is clear in French and English!! I highly recommend them as the experience on a scooter in Paris is a must!!
City Scooter exceeded my expectations in every way.!! I've rented scooters in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Barcelona just to name a few... and The owner of City Scooter is very helpful and efficient and has created a very 21st century way of handling scooter rentals. He has cleverly avoided use of a storefront store buy having a meeting place of your decision to meet you to obtain your scooter, this allows for cheaper costs and flexibility as you can either meet him centrally or for a low cost have him meet you even further away, again at a location of your choosing. After calling him, the owner was personally on his way to meet me in front of where I was staying and within 20minutes I had my scooter which was in great condition and yet very subtle and anonymous looking that blended in with other scooters and did not look like a rental. Upon returning I again met him at my last tourist destination of my choosing and again he met me and dropping it off was as easy as picking it up. Having a cell phone to use is pretty important to keep in contact with City scooter for planning a meet up point. And the owner again was so helpful the next day when I was trying to leave Paris, I was having trouble navigating the bus and train to the airport and as he was so friendly I reached out to him for help and he helped me plan my route out of the city to the airport. Meeting a stranger in chosen location to rent a scooter might at first make you hesitate, but trust me that the owner is professional, efficient, polite and goes above and beyond service to assist his customers. I believe this company will go far with its customer service, efficiency and clever business model of renting scooters
The scooter was great but the service a bit wobbly. The guy was late and forgot the gps holder so we had to wait another half hour for him to come back
My wife and I didn't get the chance to rent a scooter from this company because the information about renting a scooter doesn't say it is ONLINE ONLY. We called them in the morning 5 times at the same time we tried to rent a scooter off their website and it wouldn't let us process the transaction. So we decided to walk 25mins to the location that google gave us, to find out that there isn't a store front to rent from. Which is totally fine, but it would of been nice if it was clear they do delivery only. Thankfully a lovely woman from Zara let us use her phone to call the company, the gentleman I talked to said they were all taken up because there is a \scooter event going on in Paris\....Seriously?! I asked if he had any recommendation and he said ALL scooter places in Paris would be fully booked and that we should just rent a bike. I called 2 other places and asked if there was a scooter event and they said no! Also they had plenty of scooters. What a lame excuse of not wanting to do business with someone. We ended up renting from Cooltra Scooters. Riccarda was amazing, her customer service was way better than City scooter and the pricing was great.
Excellent service from these guys from start to finish, great scooter for 2 days in Paris, easy to collect and drop-off. Would highly recommend using them and will definitely use them again on my next trip.
