ELECTIS is a non-governmental organization based on the following principles: non profit, non commercial, and politically and philosophically neutral. Our core purpose is to help bettering our democratic systems by promoting the best usage of technologies ("Tech for Democracy"), with a specific focus on electoral processes which are at the core of democratic life. We aim to achieve it through three main tools: Create a large cross-border community of engaged and committed citizens, able to debate, assess and promote democratically concrete solutions and usages; Catalyze concrete projects and test cases connecting communities and institutions with existing solutions, ensuring traction and visibility to feed the general debate; Spur R&D on new or enhanced solutions, based on feedbacks and debates within the community around test cases and developments globally.
