I did a summer classes there and it was awful, we were too many in the classroom so some of us had to go do our work in another one and try to follow by going from one room to another. The class was supposed to be taught in english but it was mostly in french and the teacher was barely speaking english. Do not go waste your money there.

This place is a joke honestly, and if you plan to actually study fashion design and become a professional you won't even consider Esmod. I can confirm all the negative reviews posted by others. Don't waste your time or money on this, cause in the end I promise the only thing you've learned is how to empty your wallet.

If I could give it no stars I would.. THIS IS A SCAM. This school should not even be considered a university, the educational level should be considered lowed than high school or even middle school level. I can only speak from my experience in the esmod Fashion business program. I can say this school is a huge dissappointment. The school offers no support, the staff seems llke they hate their job and will not help you in any shape way of form. One out of ten proffessors is worth a while. One proffessor for communications actually had the audacity to copy and paste her lecture notes from wikipedia.. AND PUT IT ON A SLIDEHSOW, of course claiming it was her own work. This school is a scam and hopefully whoever reads this review will re consider applying here. Believe me, it is not worth your money nor your energy. One thing that \sold\ me before knwoing what I was getting in to was that the school had a good reputation for \its name\. I can confirm thta is not true, I spoke to many other students from prestigious fashion universities in Paris such as IFM paris, and all the students as well as proffessors there know that students who graduate from Esmod are not even close to prepared to be a proffesional.

This school is a huge trap for all students who have the passion for fashion and want to create by their own way. As a international studet, i don't have the respect which i should have from neither the school nor french classmates, i felt like i am being bullying from time to time, i am a transfer student and i was applied for the english class, turns out they switch me to french class just because they don't have my first year grade(which its definitely their problems), i made a mistake for pattens making, they send me to french class immediately without asking, please i came all the way from my motherland just to chase my dream of fashion, and all i get is unrespectful treatment also quick remind u guys, there r two famous designer here who quit school: balmain main designer oliver rousteing and jacquemus, oliver had one year and jacquemus just had THREE MONTHS, they have common questions with this creating process of ESMOD paris, jacquemus even said himself that this course here was destroying her creativity which is the most important thing for a designer. the administration office was a totally joke, they will keep telling u the fake information such as they provide english class with great teachers who speak fluent english, turns out they didn't coz their staff our teacher don't have the ability to speak english, and they just wish u have the ability to keeping up with the class while u have no ideas about what the teacher is saying, and also everything is in a minimal size, they don't have enough space for stitching or even stylism classroom is quite limited, u cant even have ur own space to work, this is impossible. If u really want to learn french fashion , go to IFM, they have well equipment and large advanced classroom etc, just plz think about all the negative speeches here before u go to esmod.

Please be careful if you choose to attend this school. My daughter had a horrible experience last fall - 2018. I cannot list all of the issues here. You need to research reviews in English and French. Many of the issues my daughter reported were echoed by others. The sad part is that the school keeps doing this to students. The first year which was supposed to be taught in English, it is not. There was one teacher and over 33 students in the class. You could barely understand her. No written instructions for projects. There were 33 students standing around the teachers desk for a sewing lesson and you couldn't see or hear. I cannot understand why so many students are being accepted for each class with very little resources for them. She was told you should learn french, you are in France. Yes, that is true but why is this advertised as an English speaking class for the 1st year. Occasionally an interpreter was there but not all the time. She was leaving last December too. My daughter learned very little in the 3 months she was there. There is no after school help, you cannot get questions answered in class or assistance (due to size) and through email. There is not enough equipment for the students, one iron in class and some sewing machines. For the first 6 weeks, machines and supplies had to be carried on the Metro. I could go on and on. If you wish to speak privately about this, please let me know. I hope you research this before you get your money and time taken as she did. We were unable to get any money back from Esmod. We aren't rich Americans and it upsetting that an institution in Paris would do this to a student.

I could not agree more with all the other negative reviews. This school is awful and an absolute scam in so many ways. On top of all the school fees, you are expected to purchase around 1500 euros worth of books and supplies when the course commences, most of which is uneccessary and not even used in the course. The school also has an on campus “boutique” for students to buy cheap supplies but in fact they charge up to three times more than the local art store. I have no idea where all the tuition money goes because the resources are minimal, terrible and very outdated. The “campus” is an absolute joke and the school is filled with very depressed international students all of whom are questioning why they have wasted their time and money to attend this disorganised mess of an institution. You could attend any public school and receive a much better education. Everything described in the other bad reviews is 100% accurate. Not to mention the fact that students are constantly going to the administration with visa processing problems which the administration fails to acknowledge and tell them it will be fine, simply because the school is too lazy to do anything to help them. I could go on all day listing the problems with this school. I honestly feel sad and frustrated to think of how many young people have been tricked into the nightmare which is ESMOD.
