It is interesting to know that this flame is a replica of the same size as the flame at the end of the torch held by the Statue of Liberty in New York. It is also a gesture of appreciation for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty by two French companies. But in reality it would be one more monument if it were not for the fact that The Flame became an unofficial monument of Diana of Wales after her death in 1997 in the tunnel under the Pont de l'Alma.

While walking towards Eiffel you can see this absolute beauty. It is a exact replica of Statue of liberty flame. It became a memorial for Princess Diana. Whenever you visit this place you can pay your tribute to Princess Diana and can also see the tunnel where her car crashed. Hope to visit this place again in near future.

Nice visit in a splendid location.Visit while walking to he Eiffel tower. The place also hosts the memorial for Princess Diana, who's car crashed in the tunnel below, leasing to her tragic death. The flame is a true size replica and situated in a photogenic spot.

Wonderful spot to watch the lights of the Eiffel Tower, and fitting eternal flame to remember a light in our lives. Long live the memory of Diana...

Whenever we visit Paris we make sure to go here and pay our respects to Princess Diana, we had our children with us and it was a nice history lesson for them and for them to see where something historic happened to one of the greatest women of the world!

A nice memorial spot. Not too impressive to be honest. And not a place you'll go special for, but rather cross when you're passing by.
