Emilie was an awesome teacher! She was extremely attentive to my vocabulary and grammar needs and helped me feel more comfortable speaking french. I feel my french has progressed a lot since working with her! Emilie made learning the ins and outs of the french language fun with her uplifting energy and great exercises! I was going through a lot of changes at the time and Emilie was like my french therapist lol, really kind and understanding while encouraging me to use my french...in the right way of course!!

My husband and I did a lot of research when looking for french lessons for our month stay in Paris. French Á la Carte was definitely the one that best met our needs. When we contacted Florence she went out of her way to make a lesson plan that fulfilled everything we wanted for our family. We decided to take lessons three times a week for three hours each day. This helped us have a great combination of french lessons with fun and cultural outings throughout Paris. Yael, our kids teacher, was very patient and energetic and took them to the museum, to the market, to the park, or to the café for them to practice their french in an entertaining way. Both our teachers Florence and Yael were exceptional. I would really recommend French Á la Carte for private french lessons while in Paris. If its just for a few days, a week or a month they will make sure you get what you are looking for. We are very pleased with our experience!

Emilie was a truly amazing teacher. She genuinely cared about my French progress and did every thing she could to make sure I progressed fast. She put a lot of time into our classes and I was so impressed by her. She listened carefully to me, she was patience, sweet, kind and has a big passion for teaching. Emilie is a great teacher and I managed to learn French in 3 months thanks to her help and dedication. Would definitely recommended!!!

Excellent French lessons! I highly recommend taking French lessons at French à la Carte in Paris. Their high quality and well prepared French lessons have helped me to make significant progress over the last year. My teacher is very proficient, nice and fun. The course program and material are adapted to my needs and speed of learning, with the possibility to indicate specific topics that I would like to improve. Example of topics that we have covered during the lessons are: grammar, reading, listening, writing, casual conversation, professional vocabulary, giving presentations, preparing job interviews, pronunciation, French slang, video fragments etc. In addition to the main grammar book, we make use of a lot of additional course material, carefully chosen to fit the need of the lesson. Lessons are given at my place, which is very convenient due to work. The current circumstances have allowed us to take Digital online lessons now. These have exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. This is the reason I am happy to continue with the French lessons and will take additional hours compared to the original schedule. All with all, I am very happy with French a la carte, looking forward to continue and highly recommend their lessons! Merci!

French A La Carte is an amazing company which offers private lessons to French learners of all levels. Lessons are tailored to individual needs. I appreciated the fact that before assigning a tutor, the director of the company spent time on checking my level of French and finding out what were my general interest. This information was later used to select the learning resources, we would use in our teaching. My tutor, Charles, is an extremely gifted teacher, and incredibly friendly and professional. Mostly, we followed one book packed with interesting articles. He also suggested different materials and sources to make the teaching process even more engaging. Initially, I was planning to go to Paris for a month but this plan was interrupted by the CODIV19 pandemic. Luckily, we managed to have lessons via Zoom which I am hoping to continue as soon as my working schedule is sorted. L’équipe de French A La Carte, je vous remercie pour votre professionnalisme et j’espère continuer d’apprendre le français avec vous bientôt. Cordialement, Vaho

We are an Australian professional couple living in Paris. We have been trying to find a solution for us to learn beginner's French for quite sometime and finally found French À La Carte. It has been a god-send for both of us who have very busy schedules! Our tutor Charles Ait Ghezala was very flexible with scheduling and was exceptional in teaching us the basics and moving at the pace we needed. The service was also exemplary in the difficult COVID environment. We would highly recommend Charles and French À La Carte!!

My daughter took classes in August and loved it a lot. She wants to come back to Paris to continue lessons as soon as possible. Classes have been very well prepared and age appropriate. The teacher was very kind and motivating. The organization was easy and very personal. Thank you very much!

So late in writing this review! Julie tutored my 13yo daughter last winter in Paris. At the time she was in her second year of high school French but she said that the five lessons with Julie were about a year worth of what she did in school. Julie very kindly corrected some pronunciation errors that had been 18 months in the making, taught her some French slang and idioms, basic grammar and conversation that somehow was missing from the classroom -- was just great overall. We'd definitely use FALC again if we ever see the other side of the coronavirus and can leave the United States someday in the future... sigh...
