This is a meeting point of some of the largest boulevards and streets of Paris that lead to various touristic or just important and busy areas of the city such as place Vendome, Gallerie Lafayette, Saint-Lazaire train station and lots of theatres, restaurants and bars. Today the square was full of protesters and police. Here are some views over the square from Palais Garnier.

It's one of my favorite spots in Paris! You must take time and sit in the stairs in the afternoon, there's always music or people dancing and the sunset there it's a magical experience!

Amazing location and beautiful decor. Can get busy though, especially during led tour times so be prepared to take more photos of heads and other people rather than just the settings. Well with the trip though so make sure not to miss it!
