A young woman and friend that I attend school with was physically assaulted by the bouncer, Alex, for simply refusing to leave the club without her friend first. A colleague had to make him stop and still the manager dismissed the situation, took zero accountability, and the employee was not reprimanded. Clearly not a place that values the safety of all of their patrons. Please do not support such an establishment. If I could rate less than one star I would.

This club may be gay friendly but Black women beware. A friend of mine was man-handled and physically dragged by the bouncer named Alex. Though another bouncer had to stop him, the manager did nothing. Based on other reviews this behavior toward women is not surprising. Black women and everyone who believes in fair treatment should definitely look for a different spot.

I didn't want to heed the warnings of the others on these threads but I went to Gibus on ethnic night (Sunday BBB) and still got turned away - by the short white redhead bouncer. Mind you..... the night was being promotedwas for a specific BBB party but he said it was " a private party". Not even 5 minutes later, an early 20-something guy comes in no problem. It seems you have to be in your twenties and he has to fancy you to get in. I didn't think this would happen to me (I'm a youthful, in shape Latin guy in his late 30's ) but racism and ageism is alive and well at this club. An establishment that serves the LGBT community should never be exclusive and discriminatory like that. What a shame for Paris' gay nightlife.

Someone I know and respect, also a fellow black woman, visited this club and was physically assaulted. The bouncer was Alex. The club was dismissive of the incident and did not respond appropriately. This reflects poorly on the club and their attitude towards the safety of black women on their premises. Protecting all patrons should be a priority and that they did not do so is utterly disappointing.

Awful club. 20 entrance fee without a drink and then mandatory coat check for an extra 2 and no credit card accepted, bouncer menacing that he will not let you enter the club with a light jacket. Music was garbage and the place itself dodgy and badly air conditioned. Do not waste your money there!!

Terrible service. Website lied and said you could enter In free before one. The place is not that nice. Drinks are very expensive. No one is here until 3 am. Music is not that great. Spend your time in the Marais.

My friend was physically assaulted at Gibus. They were completely dismissive and took zero responsibility after having to pull a bouncer off of her. Don’t support this club.

A bouncer named Alex assaulted my friend at this club. She is an intelligent and kind college PreMed student who was just trying to have a nice night. The fact that this club is overlooking his actions is disgraceful.
