Little place, good foods. Recommended.
We've got a team of engineers working locally on La Fayette ... during every visit they insist on taking me to the God Save The Fish for lunch, despite the many local traditional and modern French alternatives in the area. Goes to show you can take the boys out of England ... but you can't always take England out of the boys! Having said that, the food is great - possibly even good enough to rival a local 'chippy' but the setting is fabulous a true homage to the fish and London! with a telephone box themed toilet to add to the overall effect. Staff are great and very attentive. Not that the God Save The Fish is not worthy - just wish our boys would expand their horizons to try something a little more French once in a while.
Ordered the take away box. The fish was prepared at order time, excellent quality and everything was included (napkins, fork/knife, sauces, lemon, fish and chips). Personnel was welcoming and efficient, I recommend.
Excellent fish and chips served in cardboard boxes with wooden knife and fork. Very limited menu but really well done. Ignore the plastic cups, nevermind the presentation, just enjoy the beautifully cooked food. Better than a lot of British chippies. Very friendly and full of local Parisiene looking for something different.
Authentic, fresh, and tasty fish and chips. Have been back, will go back again. Batter is done crisply as are the chips, no soggyness, and who doesn't like a mushy pea.
Great spot if you want to just relax with some good food and a cold beer, cheers
Good fish and chips on the go they have Tango which is so rare it has to be mentioned.
