Best gym ever!

This is by far the best luxury gym in Paris. There are abundant free weights, a deadlift bar, a decline bench, a solid boxing studio with proper high-quality leather heavy bags, an elevator for leg days, a massive yoga studio, cycling, an impressive swimming pool, clean locker room, and a superior sauna and wet steam room. This gym is extremely private, respectful, and calm. This facility is better than any of the Equinoxes in New York, I promise. The only thing is I wish they had higher quality jump ropes, like the nice wooden-handle ones from Decathlon, and I wish they would add a climbing-rope (corde à grimper-?) inside one of the studios, like the kind of rope you would find at a traditional boxing gym in the US.
Unfortunately no access to the gym for tourists... So don't bother if you don't live in Paris ️
Pros: very clean including in changing rooms and showers, good lighting, professional reception staff, some good classes including TRX and Pilates, good (if not inexpensive) protein smoothies available at the bar. Cons: Whilst there are plenty of cardio machines, weights, benches, floor space, there is only one each of the squat rack, fly machine etc. When attempting to go during 'quiet' hours (mid-morning and afternoon), often overrun with unfriendly personal trainers who aggressively train with each other - presumably not paying high membership rates yet blocking eg squat rack for long periods.

Très jolie salle, agréable. On pourrait lui reprocher d'être plus jolie que fonctionnelle parfois. Mais le cadre est si particulier que l'on a les yeux ailleurs. Parfait pour se ressourcer, pour un fanatique de la musculation, peut-être pas ! Je lis des avis négatifs sur le personnel alors qu'il est particulièrement aimable et considérant envers les clients. Vous serez bien reçus ! Vivement que le restaurant réouvre.
Jolie salle de sport ouverte aux adhérents CMG munis d'un formulaire pour faire du sport sur ordonnance. Malheureusement, en cette période de pandémie, certaines personnes dans la salle portent le masque sous le nez voire sous le menton sans que personne ne dise rien car le personnel se cantonne à l'accueil et ne contrôle pas. Le port du masque est pourtant supposé être obligatoire...
Très belle salle de sport avec des équipements d'excellente qualité. Personnel au top.
