This historic theater is a must for everyone visiting Paris for a longer period of time. Tips : You can order tickets by phone as well. Booking for 3-4months in advance will give you the chance to get the site you want. Just outside the main entrance you will also find a small shop of the theater.

One of the best comedian group I know - famous plays of french history ; Cyrano de Bergerac, le malade imaginaire, , etc ,, in a beautiful and authentic theater full of statues and gold

Comedie Francaise is considered one of the oldest active theater in the world. It's adjacent to Palais Royal. Didn't get inside, though, so cannot comment on interior and show.

You pay 43 EUR to see a show and you come with a hand suitcase trolley and they say they cant save it in the cloakroom for you because they do not have cloakroom. Same day I found the cloakroom is just in the first floor before entering the theatre. Very disappointed with the service.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I bought the tickets, but I was blown away by what I received. Whisked Away by absolute Magic on stage. Every time I go to Paris I will make sure to check the schedule and try to align it with the show and available seats. If you are in town, even if you do not speak French, go immerse yourself.

Very nice old French theatre, with paintings everywhere, old fashion bar during entract, balconies, etc... For students it's great as you can attend a play for 5, getting there 1h before show starts. But you will be poorly sitted, visibility is reduced and you have to either stand up or get your neck wrecked . Anyways it's worth the price -you are aware... and actors are guaranteed to be good ! If you pay full price its quite comfortable. And the show may also be among spectators.
