I finally had the chance to try this Colombian restaurant and was amazed how good and authentic the food is here. Not many people know about this places but I think it is one of the best kept secrets in the neighborhood. Granted most tourists coming to Paris aren’t thinking of eating Colombian food, but the soup / stew I had today was a great value for the money and way better quality than the majority of the French restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a hearty home style cooked meal at an unbeatable price for Paris, this restaurant is your best value to eat. I don’t know Colombian cuisine very well but the kind people working here were very helpful and gave me some good suggestions on what to eat. By the look of the outside of the restaurant, you wouldn’t suspect this to be the caliber of restaurant that it is. Give it a try if you are looking to eat very well on a small budget. You will love the food!

We’ve been looking for a good Latino market in Paris and La Fonda did the trick! Very cozy spot with people hanging out enjoying some snacks and drinks. Decent selection of Latino grocery items considering it was small. Staff was very friendly and helped us get everything we needed, including small homemade tortillas perfect for tacos. We will be back!
