Seems fine but not a stand out - was surprised it was recommended given that other bakeries around the area seem to have pastries that were more appealing.

Best Butter Croissant in the world! Ive traveled to 15 different countries and in Paris alone tried butter croissants from 15 different places and nothing comes close to here. They also have very good French Baguette. If you travel to Paris this should be your #1 spot as a must visit while in Paris!

I went in there and wanted to try the bread that everyone left reviews about but didn’t want to just eat straight bread. As a solution, I ordered their small bread thing with white chocolate and let me tell you—- it was dense and perfectly baked and tasted amazing. I tried to save half of it but failed and ate it all. I also got an apricot tart which was really light!

The croissant is amazing!!! So soft and light and perfectly flaky. We also tried a vennoise au chocolat which was nice and soft topped with chocolate chips. Also tried the ham and cheese sandwiches which were just standard ham and cheese sandwiches really. Can't go wrong there. If you come here I recommend trying a croissant!

we really just stopped here almost by accident but were drawn in to purchase some snacks because of the great prices. i enjoyed a couple of different sweet breads and desserts we purchased. i even was able to take some back to the hotel a couple of hours later and even while being in my backpack they still tasted fresh!

The quiche is amazing. I also had the fruit bread which was not too sweet and just perfect.

Award winning boulangerie. Tried their baguette tradition, almond croissant and regular, all for under 4. Tasty, crunchy, inexpensive.

A heavenly made croissant... Thin, crunchy and brittle surface with many thin, juicy, buttery layers inside! Pure love that began on 2012... I will come back to Paris and at Le Grenier a Pain bien sur!!
