wowowo, so after reading an article on the Gilles Pudlowski blog, of course we thought about finding the local gem. Ex Sanderens and Frechon protegé, and a zippy service...nothing could be more appealing. The plates are just....plates. Ok the burger is not bad (meaning the meat), ok the burrata isn't bad either, which can confirm that the sourcing of product is the one of a chef with flair, nothing else will add this lunch to my memory at all. basically, cook at home on tuesday diner it'll be the same, or almost better. Ok you want to be simple, but you can certainly pump up the dressing. I think i'll remember that burrata for being tasty, but dropped in a bowl above 4 slices of totatoe. Not even any dressing, not even a simple herb. Nothing.....dry as the Gobi desert. I think kids got same lunch in certain canteens accross France. Very discontinued service, slow, inefficient, some would say bobo - the waitress was having lunch when we arrived! that tells a lot. I don't know what happened since mister Pudlow visited, but this is certainly not the same place. Maybe the covid19 affected the logistic or else. Maybe.... So to sum up, come for the view, maybe order a drink. But the food will not be the selling point. the 20th art is the new 11th and there are loads of other places that that mushrooms each day in the area such as Mensae or Yaya, Caché.....with that level Moncoeur will not survive, at least for real foodies. For the pics, I leave you with the best, the view from the area.

I visited recently and for someone like me (a widely renown twenty-five Michelin star chef) and ugh horrible for starters: they had no peanut butter and jelly with bananas with is a sign of low quality, they were incredibly expensive and people were shouting gibberish at me when I was eating out of the garbage

Not the most efficient service, but a nice terrasse and affordable prices.

This restaurant is a gem. Low key ambience, village atmosphere above Paris. Very friendly staff. good home made food. The brunch is one of the best of Paris. The wonderful terrace is certainly the best terrace of Paris. And the prices are allright. Organic wines and coffees. Happy hour at sunset is a must. What else???

Lovely view and nice ambiance. Friendly but very slow service despite few customers. Ordered, amongst other things, a Perrier and got a mostly flat glass of water . Clearly glass was filled from larger bottle used for cocktails and not fresh individual bottle. Would be fine if charged as such but wasn’t. Bit of an arnaque usually reserved for tourists who bars think won’t know better. But can’t beat the view!
