Got tickets for Versailles, the museum was closed because of the strike, the only thing that was open was the Garden (which is much cheaper), we went there at least to see something because it was a long ride. Got next day to them, the main office we bought tickets from was closed, had to go to the other office. They didn't want to return the difference, arguing that because the ticket was scanned on the Garden it can't be refunded (even if the Garden is at a much lower price and they know of the strike)... Filled a complain, didn't get any response... Avoid buying tickets from here as you still stay in a big line to enter and can buy tickets from there..

I purchased the Paris Museum Pass to be picked up. I arrived early, no problems since I was one of the first ones there. In the future I would probably just pay to have it delivered to avoid the hassle. With that being said, I actually did purchase the transit pass through their site and did have those delivered and received on them on time. I was excited to have had my entire trip planned. Unfortunately I forgot them at home. I did purchase insurance through the company they use. I was really hoping something could be worked out or at the very least have them workout some type of refund or get a portion of my money. NOPE! The woman I spoke to was perhaps a little apologetic however, told me it was my responsibility to have brought them. No kidding, of course I knew it was my responsibility. I came to their office because I made a mistake and left them. She then told me the office of the company they use was closed and her solution was to buy another two 4day transit pass which is over 150. Huh? I still have to send an email to this insurance company. I attempted to file a claim and it's requesting my bank information (account number) and I rarely share that information nor do I see why that would be necessary to get a refund on the card I used. So triple check to be sure to bring your tickets/passes because they won't help. Insurance is a joke.

Very well worth the slight wait there. They are very helpful, have passes that markedly decrease the wait lines for the top attractions, and reduce the costs of multiple museums in Paris. The tourist offices in France are wonderful, and for people who are visiting France on their own, I would highly highly recommend them. Also, the people there speak English. I also highly recommend the Metro passes available at the Metro stations. If whatever pass one gets at the tourist office does not include the Metro, I think the passes are great. We got one for 5 days and it was fabulous!

I was waiting for 40 minutes to pick up my pre-ordered and pre-payed tickets. There is no special desk to do this and so you wait and wait and watch others plan their trips which takes a while. Not to mention that the system actually didn't call my number at all (I was skipped somehow).

Takes ages to queue here... Pre order and get tickets sent to your hotel or home.
