This is a very large and green park. There are free animals and beautiful sculptures everywhere. During summer it is perfect for a picnic with friends or families looking for a plan for the weekend. During winter it is great for a nice stroll or a run.

A very nice, green parc in the southern part of Paris. A good place for a relaxing stroll or for sitting on the grass to enjoy tanning or reading a book. Easily accessible by public transport.

Lovely especially early morning when everything is still not buzzing.

Lovely park. There's always something going on, so it's worth to go on the website and see what workshop or concert there is! Otherwise, great place to chill. For the little ones, there's a merry-go-round and a super fun sandbox/ play ground.

Parc Montsouris The Montsouris park is one of the largest intramural green spaces in the capital. It is located in the 14th arrondissement, between rue d'Alésia and the Cité Universitaire de Paris. The immediate proximity of the Cité Universitaire makes Parc Montsouris one of the favorite places for student walks. Built under Napoleon III and inaugurated in 1869, the Montsouris park is home to a lake, beautiful statues, remarkable trees (Chinese parasol tree, a persimmon ...), the Pavillon Montsouris restaurant and welcomes many species of birds to observe. Visitors can also discover the Montsouris meteorological observatory there as well as the \Mire du Sud\ stele, showing the location of the Paris meridian. Once a year, during European Heritage Days, the reservoir of Eau de Montsouris (containing a third of the drinking water consumption of Parisians) can be visited exceptionally. From May to September, we enjoy the many concerts, given free of charge at the bandstand.
