Tried to enter the shop. A small suitcase was in the doorway and two customers were inside already. I asked if they were open and was told with a dismissive wave and words to go away. Maybe they were 'celebrities'.... I won't be trying to go in there again.

Nico’s collection and curation is second to none. He is warm and welcoming. This is a treasure trove and lifetime collection of rarities. He accommodates every customer’s visit. Call ahead to make sure he’s not swamped.

Greatest vintage / inspiration showroom in Paris. Nico has a great eye for fashion forward and archive pieces and is the sweetest guy !

Went out of our way to visit this place because we’d read an article saying it was one of the better vintage places in Paris. When we arrived, the door was locked. There were a few people inside, clearly shopping, as well as a store employee. The employee looked at us but didn’t come to the door. We rang the buzzer and the shop person looked us up and down as if making an assessment of whether or not my partner and I were worthy to enter the shop. Apparently we failed their test. I’ll also note that we were dressed nicely (not like typical tourists) and the people shopping inside weren’t fashionistas by any stretch, so I’m not sure why the hostile attitude. We even checked out another shop a block over and came back, hoping it was just a weird fluke. Nope. Same thing happened again. 0/10 would not recommend.

Wonderful selection of vintage. Very helpful and knowedeable people - just make an appointment because it's a small shop with a lot of precious things.

Came by while store had door open. Owner vaguely shooed us away saying to come back tomorrow and that it's by appointment only. While looking through the window another couple (clearly French) approached and was promptly allowed in. I asked why and he said by appointment only but it was clear that they didn't have one. He seemed prejudiced to Americans for some reason. Don't bother.

Made a special trip to this place because we had heard it was a cool spot. Got there in the middle of the afternoon and saw people inside, but the door was locked. They looked over at us and continued chatting. When we finally rang the buzzer, the guy waved us off and indicated they were closed. Couldn't even be bothered to walk to the door. After reading some other reviews, it appears this isn't an unusual occurrence at this place. I'd suggest you avoid this one.

I had trudged up to the northern Marais as I'd heard of this 'great shop'. I have lived in Paris for ten years and recently opted to move back to London as the attitude of the Parisians began to wear on me. It was a pleasure to learn that it has remained unchanged, even amidst an economic crisis. I rang the bell, a woman answered telling me they were closed. They were not - it was 'Fashion Week' and the stylists (from NY!) had first call as they are 'clients'. I explained that I too am a client from London. No apologies, no 'would you mind having a coffee on us for 10 minutes and come back'. A simple 'non, nous sommes fermé'. Who cares that I have many clients I can send to the shop and will not as a result of this attitude. Ah.. the customer service of the French...
