Fantastic, funny, sweet. This circus is everything you've imagined of the old circuses of impressionist paintings. The ringmaster is both fantastical and self-deprecating. The acts are both impressive and have the sense that they are timeless. If you arrive early the circus cats will keep you company.

I could not recommend enough the Cirque Romanes. Unique atmosphere,and great performers, starting with Alexandre Romanes, the founder and director. A particular mention goes to the wonderful Balkan gipsy folk music that accompanies the show, and to the acrobatic cats!
Very unusual place not like usual chapiteau, but may be boring for small children (4y.o. and below) since they don't have too much animals ))
Wonderful Tzigane show! We went to see \Avant nous étions des oiseaux\ and had a great time! The circus in itself was rather small and people very welcoming
Authentic, beautiful, warm, funny. Definitely recommend it!
