we had a really great dinner at this place. we liked, that the food was cooked by the maman. we loved the spices & there was very fair relation between what you get and its prize.

One of the best Moroccan food and great personalised service!
A fantastic alternative to regular food in a totally genuine and authentic Moroccan setting. 3 of us had a number of dishes - the couscous with chicken and the lamb targine some entrees made up of vegetables. The meat was tender, flavours had a complexity about them which made our visit memorable and the legumes buzzed with flavour. The cosy warm venue along with friendliness of the host (whos mum was the chef ) made our trip to this delightful restaurant a memorable one which we would have no hesitation in going back to. I have noticed a 1 star review from Globetrotter on Trip Advisor criticising the suggested/forced meal arrangements by the host. We had exactly the same situation amongst 3 of us (we only wanted 2 mains plus 3 small starters but were told we needed to order 5 to make a third main). Whilst this may seem unusual to some, we polished off all of our foods and understood that this is just the way that this business decides to run itself, perhaps to continue serving wonderful foods in a competitive market place.

This cozy Moroccan restaurant provided excellent options for both the vegetarians and the meat eaters in our party. It was tight with four people, so I don't recommend this restaurant for lager groups. I had a chicken tagine dish and loved it, while my wife enjoyed an eggplant dish whose name now escapes me. Worth a visit if you are in the Marais district.
