Potential fraud? The exchange rate is BY FAR worse than at the airport so much so that I wonder if this does not actually fall into fraud... And I find it difficult to accept the justification that the running costs justify it. A client who visited it once, will never come back again. Better rates would attract more clients and more profit... Worth checking if there is any EU regulation protecting from such an abuse... I suggest to refrain! You would be better off paying a taxi to take you to a different exchange office. I saw no rates displayed for the currency I bought. Probably it's the first warning sign! Otherwise, the place is safe and service professional.

Very bad rate. They wanted me to pay 1.41 for a Euro when the real rate was about 1.21 (on a 1000E purchase!). I can get much closer using my debit card, so I walked out. At that time, I was unfamiliar with Paris and couldn’t find another currency exchange. They told me Travelex was the only exchange in town! After a few days, I found many more and was able to exchange at 1.29 at another money changer. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
Super rude employee. Super bad rates. They take almost 10% of commission by exchange. They are lucky you can’t rate 0 stars because they wouldn’t arrive at 1.

Travelex Horrible rates , They sell pre paid card , dont go gor it. Leagaly correct but clear cheating the way they sell things with vocal fine prints !!! Horrible rates and they trick you and sell the travel card saying you have no harges , but they charge a rate higher compared to ther fx guys such that you will indirectly end up paying 25 EUR for the card
The rates are a ripoff. 100 usd for 75 euros, while the current exchange rate from google should be 94 euros. Crazy.
This place has by far the worst exchange rate in Paris!!! I had to urgently get some euros because my credit card was blocked and I've got 594 for 826 us, which means a rate of 0.71 when the market rate was 0.89. I've just lost 130 in that transaction! KEEP AWAY OF THIS EXCHANGE OFFICE!!!
ATTENTION ce bureau de change Travelex est de la pure arnaque. 30 euros de commission non annoncés à l'avance pour un achat de 400 US (environ 7%). Hallucinant ! N'y allez surtout pas. C'est du vol.
