Have been to Bergerac many times before and never knew this place existed or that it's 1km walk up from the town centre. Dog friendly, although they aren't supposed to swim in the lake. Guessing it would be packed when it's hot though

Such a lovely park. I'd love to bring my grandchildren here, for the sandy beach and safe water. And my dog, for the miles of walks.

Nice place but could do with a tidy up and removing the doggy do do from the paths and general rubbish from the beach area.
