Peake Wood Cemetery is a small Commonwealth cemetery just south of Contalmaison on the road to Fricourt. Situated in a small copse of trees surrounded by farmland, it's a peaceful spot for the 103 men buried here. Suprisingly, there is no boundary wall, the cemetery is simply surrounded by a low grilled fence. Not sure if this is a temporary measure or permanent.
