Excellent budget friendly hotel, near center bus stop so very easy to get to anywhere in Chamonix valley any to other cities in France.

Could also be a 3.5 star as in a great location. Flat was well equipped and size was fine for 2 people. Reception staff are very helpful but the closed reception period is an issue. Would be better if reduced to 12-2 closed rather than the current 12-4. We arrived at 13.30 and just sat around (getting cold) as we had all our gear with us.

Apartment without big bed, for couple isn't recommend. But it's comfy, it's not small. Close to the center. Information about how to get, where park...just in email,so without internet imposible do it, find it. They don't wait you.

I read conflicting reviews about this hotel and was unsure what to expect. Essentially you get what you pay for and I don’t mean that as a negative. This is a great budget hotel. Excellent location, clean, friendly staff who speak English. The apartment is small but for us, it was just a base to explore the valley and mountains. Perfect for our needs. If you want a 4 or 5* experience then pay for it. This is a great little hotel. As an extra perk the staff will order in fresh bread products for you to collect in the morning at very reasonable prices. The view from our apartment was beautiful. Chamonix south (sud) is the more run down area of town but it’s so close to the centre it really doesn’t matter. If you want a clean and convenient budget hotel then this is a bargain. My only complaint is that they only give you one toilet roll (but snide if you ask me) and they expect you to clean the place before you leave, including the trash. They aren’t big things but minor annoyances that stopped me giving it a 5/5.
