Gorgeous, highly detailed sculpted interior, really worth a visit

Lovely church but it was under repair so I couldn't get a great photo of it...
Magnifique ! I came when the mass was served, went there quietly. Beautiful choral part, quiet and peaceful inside. I was charmed by the picturesque interrior and mural lichens on the outside walls.
Wonderful piece of art. It was the concrete place of shows around the life of Jesus, you can follow the picturesque summary of his life and imagine how it was not too be able to read letters and be still impressed with a bloody storyline.
Really nice parish close. We were lucky to meet the keeper, a nice guy (French speaking). He explained to us some stuff about the church ! Don't hesitate to put 2 euros a the entrance to turn on the light. Then you can have a look to the beautiful vaults of the church !
Extraordinary ornate archway. Also on the same square: a bakery selling the best Breton shortbread biscuits in Brittany.
An incredible snapshot into history. This church and its surroundings are still actively used by the community.
Great for a quick stop off. Playben has a large public square some nice traditional shops, cafes etc. Little chapel worth a look and the church and Calvary are a must.
