Fairly easy to get to. Parking right next to the lake, very handy. Ideal for a picnic although cafes available. Swimming in the lake recommended - views of the hills surrounding makes for an ideal location.
Beautiful place on the lake. Very good food also.
This is a very picturesque setting, with the castle on one side and the mountains behind the lake. We were there for the night market which had a lot of different food options on offer. We managed to.leave just before the fireworks which was a shame, I am told that they were very good.
Near Puivert town, with hills in the background, this small clean lake is ideal for a short walk round or a swim. There's a small outdoor cafe, a playground and toilets. Small planes towing gliders sometimes fly low over the lake, taking off from a nearby airfield. It's a relaxing place.
Had good food in 2 or 3 places.... All of those were great! It's a great place to swim as well.
