Begun in November 1914, Le Touret Military Cemetery was used throughout the Great War and today is the final resting place for over 900 casulaties of the British and Comonwealth forces. The cemetery is situated on the main road between Bethune and Armentieres. The cemetery is surrounded by farmland and is bordered on two sides by the Le Touret Memorial to the Missing. As with all CWGC cemeteries, it is beautifully kept. highly recommended.

Visited the grave of my Great Uncle Robert Herriot who was killed during the battle of Neuve Chapelle on 12 March 1915. The cemetery is maintained in an immaculate condition. Cemetery map and visitors book at entrance.
