A payment water that I visited for the first time last March. On arrival I got a nice site at my disposal with many possibilities. Because of the cold weather and the low water temperature it was difficult to catch a fish. Still, after a week, the counter stood at 22, the heaviest being a scale of 17 kilos. Furthermore, a lot of 10 kilos plus fish. The fish looked healthy and beautiful. A must for if you want something a little different. It is not easy water, but for the slightly more experienced carp angler definitely worth a visit.
First time that we fishing here for a week. Many lakes with beautiful carps. We went to padslake peg 2. Its not only we catch a lot off beautiful carp, sturgeon and kois, but also the nature and the surrounding is stunning, there are a lot off different wildlife and birds also in the nights you can here the owls and jumping from big fish. Also the facilitys are more then enough at our peg we had a wooden hut with some electric for charging our gear and stuff. So if you doubt about this its not needed just go over there and just see it with your own eyes. To the owner thank you for this great week we had! And we will return so soon as possible ( sorry for my terible englisch ) Mvg
Fishing is overall nice, price is still a bit steep considering the size of carp you can catch there, but no complaints about that since we knew that on forehand. Communication is a bit hard with the owner(s), English vocabulary is really limited which was fine, but it starts to get annoying once we were told we mistreated the fish because of our supposedly harsh drilling technique. Mind you that we fish quite light material (sufficient for this water), so maybe he never saw rods before that actually bend (2,25lbs). We know we put back the fish in perfect condition and have done so for many years, so an accusation like this didn't feel nice. Fishing spots are taken care of really well, good eye for detail since we forgot to clean up a tea bag and this was shown to us. Strange that he didn't spot the big turds there next to the barbeque that were left by previous guests. Not really complaining about this but I found it funny. We were expected to leave quite early (10:00am), but got complained at when we woke up the owner 9:15am. We could have just left apparently, but no way we were going to leave that place without getting our 50 deposit back. All in all not too bad, but the accusations and complaints and us not being able to defend this because of the very poor understanding of the English language is what makes my verdict a bit lower than it really could have been.
Lac agreable pour amateur de peche à la carpe.
Voor het eerst een weekend vissen gepland in Frankrijk. Lac de Rogers moest het worden en dan de vijver Etang Juju met een eigen stacaravan. De vijver is klein maar meer dan voldoende grote vissen. We konden het niet meteen vinden en kwamen bij een ander water uit dat bleek van een camping te zijn (dat er naast ligt) De eigenaar gebeld en die heeft ons geholpen maar zeer zeker niet op een vriendelijke manier. Door te schreeuwen en zegt dat je toch niet blind bent was geen warm welkom. Voor de dag dat we weg wouden hebben we gevraagd hoelaat we weg konden i.v.m dat je voor 10 uur weg moest wouden we graag om 8 uur smorgens weg. Dat was geen probleem gaf die aan. Op de dag dat we zouden vertrekken moesten we hem wakker maken bij zijn huis. Daar was die niet van gediend en wou de borg niet terug geven zonder reden. Conclusie: Super mooie vijvers en mooie vissen, maar door de eigenaar geen doen. Probeer het contact zoveel mogelijk te vermijden. Voor ons 1 keer en nooit weer!
Très mauvaise expérience dans ces étangs... Déconseille fortement
Magnifique endroit entretenu de mains de maître par le propriétaire qui maîtrise à la perfection la gestion piscicole. Résultat, beaux étangs saints, pleins de beaux poissons de toutes espèces dans un cadre silencieux et retiré. A refaire, rapidement....et merci pour l'accueil et les belles conversations halieutiques au propriétaire.
