Stayed at this site in July 2020. Excellent conditions and safety for the COVID regulations which have been implemented on this site. All facilities are on site are sparkling clean. Peter & Sarah the owners of the site are amazing hosts. The on-site restaurant food is amazing with a nice atmosphere (even with the social distancing). Never felt more safe than on this site and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended site for a relaxing stay.

We spent a lovely week at this beautiful tranquil campsite. Peter and Sarah were really friendly and helpful and they keep the site beautifully clean and maintained. This is especially important in view of the Covid situation and we felt totally relaxed and safe during our stay. The home cooking is a real bonus too!

Perfect break for us as a family, in a year when we thought we would never get away we found an absolute diamond! Beatiful site, stunning surroundings, GREAT fishing... hosts Peter and Sarah's 'Plat De Jour' evenings are superb at creating a unique positive atmosphere on site that I've never experienced so universally before - wonderful campsite hosts. Had a superb week and will definitely be there again. Evenings round the lake looking at the stars will never be forgotten by us as a family....

We had such a lovely 2 night stay here on our way back to Le Havre. Peter and Sarah made us very welcome, going out of their way to come and chat. The pizza we had on our first night was delicious. They have created a very relaxing campsite and should be very proud. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Forest View and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and beautiful views of the lake. Peter and Sarah were lovely and very accommodating. The Plat du Jour evening was a highlight as well as the fresh pastries every morning!

What an amazing first stop on our tour of Europe. Beautiful forest surroundings, very peaceful and quiet.The site is immaculate with good washing and shower facilities. It is also a reasonable distance from Calais to be able to drive in one go. On arrival we were warmly greeted by both Peter and Sarah who turned out to be most perfect hosts. As a keen Carp fisherman the lake was ideal and I was lucky enough to have the place to myself. Stunning sunsets were enjoyed in the Orchard whilst BBQing, after Peter kindly fitted a new hose to my gas cooker. I should add that Peter is a great handyman and was always willing to help. The garden area next to the resturant is a perfect place to use a laptop and has great Wi-Fi connectivity. Mind you, in a spot like this with much exploring to do, being surrounded by wildlife, wild boars, dear, badgers, to name a few, any such technology should be hidden away! It's a place we'll return to and we already have very fond memories.

We booked seven nights at Forest View, and loved it so much we stayed for eleven (a record for us road trippers!). The site is really spacious with a big orchard for kids to run around in, the facilities are spotless, and Peter and Sarah are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, making you feel more like guests than campers. The plat du jour was excellent ; we had it twice, and the pizzas were some of the best we’ve had (and we know our pizzas!). It’s rare to find a site that ticks every box and then some, especially during a pandemic when safety, cleanliness and space become more of a priority. We felt really looked after, nothing was too much trouble, and the site and its surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, from the tranquil lakeside pitches to the prettily lit outdoor dining areas and the picturesque Normandy countryside. There is a huge supermarket nearby, miles of flat cycling for families and extensive wooded trails for the more adventurous, an outdoor activities centre 30 minutes away, and a lovely river nearby for swimming. For two NHS workers looking to escape the madness for a couple of weeks, this couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you.

We have just returned from the most beautiful and relaxing holiday at Forest View. The owners, Peter and Sarah are so warm and welcoming and really cannot do enough for you. We have never met a kinder and more friendly couple. Forest View is such a well kept and beautiful campsite which Peter and Sarah are lucky enough to call home.They have an excellent knowledge of the area and are more than happy to offer tips and advice on things to do. Peter and Sarah offer 'plat du jour' nights, which are not to be missed. Sarah's wonderful homemade cooking is out of this world and it's an excellent opportunity to meet others on the campsite and share stories. A wonderful social event and Peter and Sarah make you feel so welcome. Just like going out for a family meal all round one big table. The campsite is lovely and peaceful and the toilet and shower blocks are kept pristine. The lake onsite is great for leisure fishing and has some extremely well looked after fish. No need to bring 6 rods and tonnes of bait as both my Dad and my partner demonstrated! The fishermen and women here enjoy a nice peaceful day in the sun, admiring the views and soaking up the peace and quiet in between catching decent sized fish. Cannot recommend this site enough and can't wait until we go back!
