The trip to the end station is pretty noisy but worth going. Spectacular views of Alps, you can hike down to Les Houches or back to town which I recommend for those who like hiking.

We were here at the beginning of April 2017. It was the first day to Mont Blanc summit, we did a short break here on the way to refuge higher. Wonderful place, but it doesn't work during spring as well as Tram du Mont Blanc. Nice place and view to the mountains and valley below. It is possible to stay here in case of emergency.

the glacier from near... lohnt sich.schon der alten Zahnradbahn wegen. Von les Huches bis Bellevue mit dem CableCar-weiter mit der Bahn.
Pas mal du tout, mais à certaines heures le tramway est bondé
En arrivant par le tramway du Mont Blanc, quelques minutes de marche pour un beau point de vue sur le glacier.
