Lovely museum with various art pieces and architecture. The staff are friendly and smiling. Don't miss it!

Nice modern building. Museum has lots of mosaics. Be sure to climb the stairs to see the best mosaic in the building (it is easily missed). Archaeological site adjacent requires an imagination. With minor exceptions, only the barest of foundations survive. Admission includes an audio guide but the site is not English-friendly. In and out in 90 minutes. 6 Euros. Not worth the trip from Lyon.

Worth a quick look into the museum. Very informative about the speculated lifestyle of ancient romans in the area.

History buff must see. This place will make your fingers and toes tingle...to be so close to something so ancient. It is an immersive experience into Roman life. Take time to sit and take in what you are seeing and feeling and you will be transported. I can even imagine the excitement of the archaeologists that uncovered it all. Just wow. Mosaics, roads, rooms, artifacts, it has it all.

Outstanding explanations and beautifully preserved art and mosaics, as well as a town layout in the grounds. The models of houses and docks are super, housed in glass cases you can circle to see all angles. Didn't do a guided tour or auto guide so I don't know if they're in English, but be aware the exhibitions are annotated in French only.

One of the best museums of the Roman period in France. I have seen many museums, perhaps over 25, and this is by far the best. Under 8 euros this spectacular facility is a bargain. Get the audio guide it's free and makes the visit!!
