Stunning place worth visiting (if you're in the area). Wonderful panoramic views and, depending on the weather, you can experience surreal scenery. Even if it doesn't take too much time to visit this castle, you can take advantage of the many walking paths through the surrounding woods.

A magnificent old castle overlooking the plains of Alsace. The walking through the forest leading to the castle is so pleasant! Will go back if having an opportunity.
A well restored castle that is easy to explore on your own. All the signs with information on the exhibits are in English too. Even though we went at what Google said was the busiest time of day, the castle wasn’t crowded and there was parking easily available along the road leading up to the castle. There is also an amazing view from the castle so try to go when it isn’t too cloudy.
Wow a must see and great place to stop for lunch. Climb the ladder to the top...steep bit worth it. The chapel is outstanding. No cost except food.

This is like the Sigiriya (in Sri Lanka) of Europe. I took my bicycle and rode to the top with my wife. It is quite a tough climb with heavy touring bicycles, but it is worth every second. We also got a very nice perspective of the Alsace region, when we saw past Strasbourg and along the Rhine and Schwarzwald. I highly recommend this place.
