Excellent evening, great food and extensive wine choice. We had three filet de bœuf en croûte and they were exceptional ! We have not had such a good cut of meat for a while. Deserts were also good. ( Picture is of Mirabelle crumble). We recommend this restaurant!
The food is very good and balanced. Could have received 5 stars but lost one star for slow service, tables finished their meal before we started our main courses even though we arrived before... And another star is removed because I asked my meat to cooked blue and it was served well done... Too bad
It was a saddest experience I ever had in France. I came in there evening to have a dinner but one of the waiters told me there was no seat. I could see some empty seats without a reservation plate, but I just thought maybe I could find another restaurant. Afterwards when I was googling some other restaurants nearby, a couple seemed to wonder if they want to enter there or not in front of the entrance, and they entered. If there is no availability, the couple was supposed to be told the same as me but they seemed to be assigned a table which I saw the one as available. Whether or not just because I'm a solo traveller, not fluent french speaker, non-European appearance, I didn't feel well to see his attitude and what he has done to me. I can't judge a city with one experience but it was enough for me to decide not to extend my stay here.
Cosy place, great service
Charming place with very good food. Located outside of the city center, it is certainly worth the trip. Good choice of wines, interesting dishes, pleasant deserts. I'll revisit it with pleasure.
Good experience all in all. Staff was very nice, loved the desserts, but the stake was too rare, even though i've ordered it \a point\.
