The Place Kléber is the central square of Strasbourg, France. Place Kleber, the largest square at the center of the city of Strasbourg in the heart of the city's commercial area, was named after French revolutionary general Jean-Baptiste Kléber, born in Strasbourg in 1753. In the square is a statue of Kléber, under which is a vault containing his remains. On the north side of the square is the Aubette (Orderly Room), built by Blondel in 1765-1772. Located in Strasbourg's historic center (\Large Island\) the area was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honor was placed on an entire city center.

A really beautiful and lively place in the heart of Strasbourg. Was there a few days after the Christmas Market had opened and the fabulous Christmas tree set up. There is a nice but not big enough ice-skating rink for the whole family. The most important sights are within walking distance from this square. I suggest visiting it on Saturday evenings, there are some catchy Xmas events, music, food, lights, anything you need to have a great time. Don't forget to look up and delight yourself with the magnificent architecture around!!
Lovely place !!!!!! Key place of Strasbourg, an unmissable place at the hearth of Strasbourg. Near this place, you will find the Homme de Fer tram station, which allows you to go at every place deserved by tram. You can also find an Apple Store, a huge library (biggest one of France). Don't hesitate to come here on Christmas, you will see a mn amazing and giant Christmas tree with a big rink; and at 5-10 min on foot, you will find the Strasbourg cathedral, with the famous Christmas market.
Nice place to walk around, hanging out with friends and just relaxing or sitting in one of the cafes. Lots of stores and it even have a Grand Lafayette store. Beautiful Christmas tree all lit up. See more of this @wandering_bears or #wandering_bears
A very beautiful plaza that has a lot of open space for taking pictures and hanging out with friends and family. Currently there is a Christmas market going on so there are a lot of little shops selling different things. The best part is there is a big Christmas tree for Pictures and an outdoor skating rink
Here for the Christmas Market. Must be on bucket list. Large market, lots of food and gift items. Weather is cool this time of year. Magnificent Christmas tree.
Nice square to visit in Strasbourg. Only one authentic coffee shop in the square that was unfortunately full. I can get Starbucks in the US so I didn't want to settle for that. I felt safe at kleber square when I saw the solders with rifles patrolling the area. Startled me at first when I saw them.
General Kleber!! I visited the Kleber square not on the Christmas season but in February. A beautiful and historical square shows the city’s history. I would like to come back to see the most famous Christmas market here :)
