This is a traditional Alsacien restaurant. They get very busy and if you don’t have reservations, chances are they won’t have a table for you. Their reservations are either 7-9pm or 9-11pm foe dinner. The place is pretty tight but the food is very good. The sauerkraut is superb, the best I’ve had in France.

The waitress spilled my drink over the plate and didn't give me a new drink, just a new plate with food. Did not get an apology or a reduced price in the end... Paying 4 for a little coke is also not reasonable. Food was good, but nothing special. We expected more for the price, especially a better service!

We came here under the recommendation of several friends and it did not disappoint! The food was local and hearty but even more the staff was so friendly. The waiter overheard it was my birthday and brought out a piece of pie with a candle in celebration. Thank you for the surprise and for making my birthday special!

Wanted to visit here last year in christmas but was closed. This year got the chance to visit here but in a special periode… Menu was of course pretty small, lots of usual Alsacian stuff was missing. The Pork Knuckle was good as hell, much better and delicately prepared than most of the Grillhaxe in Germany(RIP poor pig). It was obviously throughly but lightly brined, then according to the waitress, boiled in Bouillon then grilled to give it a crispy crust. Portion was not huge and its not Eisen, a little bit towards the feet. Another dish was Tete de Veau, but this dish has got really strong odor from the animal. Being a lover for organ meats I could enjoy the intense flavor with mustard and Meerettich, but to the end it was a bit too much, almost stronger than Andouillette!

Great restaurant - really highlights the local, Alsatian feel. Food was fantastic, especially the fish and lentils. Make sure to check out the cartoons on the walls.

Went once, would not revisit. Lunch menu for 13,5 euros was a reasonably priced, but the food was very average.

Small cozy restaurant, frequently packed with customers !! We were seated on a table with 3 other customers (didn't mind at all as we chatted up with them!!) Alsatian specialty was really good : the hareng and potato salade was A BLAST !! super delicious. Also tried the salmon choucroute which was good, though the salmon was a bit dry !! The whole topped with a pitcher of Alsatian Cider !! Great food and social experience, wouldn't hesitate to come back

Recommended by our hotel, they made lunch reservations right away for us. This place was delicious, I loved their foie gras appetizer. The place is small so you'll need to share a table with others, but it's a comfortable experience. Definitely recommend!!!
