Me and my brother-in-law went for mountainbike downhill performance tour (3h). We were welcomed by Kylian, our guide for this tour, at the depot. After an introduction, fitting some equipment and trying out our bikes we were on our way. We had a small group; me, my brother in law and Kilian. When we were at the top of the semnoz, we put on our equipment and we started the our downhill experience. In one word: AMAZING! What an adrenaline rush it was. It was a demanding ride. But never did you had the feeling that it was impossible to overcome the obstacles. Kilian was very nice, helpfull and did a really good job of gauging the strenght of the group. All in all, i can recommend everyone to go with takamaka and with Kilian!
We had a very good experience on the downhill bike. Everything was well organised and worked well. Our guide was helpful and chose the right tracks. Would definitely do this again.
Myself and my girlfriend did the downhill mountain biking today with Killian our guide from Tamaka who did a great job, very helpful for people of all levels. If you like your out door activities I'd recommend this. We did the beginners coarse and it was brilliant fun and a white knuckle ride at times. Thanks again Killian
Did canyoning. We spend to much time on the mountain because it was to busy. There for I was really cold what should be one and half hour trip was became 4 and a wetsuit normally keeps you warm for 2 hours maximum. Staff didn’t want to talk English and I felt very unwanted during the whole process. Would not recommend going with this party. Even some people didn’t clip in where they had to which is very very dangerous.
Rented two road bikes for half a day. Both bikes were in good condition and the staff was super friendly.
Did a guided downhill mountain bike ride down Semnoz with Antoine, what a great experience. They spoke English and were super helpful. Antoine was very knowledgeable about the trail and helping provide guidance about which lines to take,etc, and what a fun character he is - he made the whole ride experience a lot of fun. It’s a great value to get a solid downhill bike with good components, all the gear, shuttle to top of the mountain, and a knowledgeable guide to lead the way down and have all necessary tools for any trail repairs. I highly recommend Takamaka to any serious riders looking for a rental/guided ride around Annecy.
The place is for paragliding is breath taking. However my experience with TAKAMAKA was very disappointing. I booked 30 minutes fly, where we were supposed to go higher than the starting point in reality we did not go higher and spent only 10 minutes in the air ?...It was exactly the same with my partner only 10 minutes flying in different times of the day, our friend who booked with another company has flew almost 30 minutes as promised. On the ground they wanted additional 25 euro for the Video, where it should be included in the original cost...Very unprofessional staff on the ground.
