The place is cute, no tables inside, only different bean grinders. A few tables outside. We had two cappuccinos (I am very picky with my cappuccinos) and these were ok, coffee was good but a bit bland and slightly too hot. Milk foam disappointing.

Outstanding cup of coffee. This is the go to place for any coffee geek in La Rochelle. They roast all their coffee on site, you can buy it to take home or stop a while. The espresso, served to only a few tables looking on to the market Square was delicious (I had two). My wife's decaf was great too and we were surprised to see nitro cold brew on the menu too. They were happy for us to eat the pastries we grabbed on the market at our table and the locals were super friendly and we had a great chat. A charming spot for a super cafe, im looking forward to my next visit!

Shocking how people here actually think this is good coffee! Shows how poor the coffee isn’t here. Beans burnt not roasted, not good quality (certainly not speciality) beans. Lady in shop cannot use coffee machine, petit cafes not espresso, poor extraction and french prices (most expensive coffee in the world) The only place to get good coffee in the region is Windara on île de re! Such a shame merling have such a monopoly here!
