Second time visiting, excellent set up, nice cosy cabin and great organisation with dinner/breakfast delivered to your cabin.

Amazing, Something great to slow down. A place to go with your family. I loved it!
Went here for a team building event. The area is beautiful and the chalets are very clean and nicely kept. The rooms also have free tea and coffee samples, which I found surprisingly nice. Breakfast was delivered to our chalets and was fresh, it was given nicely wrapped up and I felt there was enough options to satisfy most people. The pool area is rather small, good for a little splash about but maybe not for people wanting to do full lengths as exercise.
Nice constructions, calme, nature... amazing views from the too of the roof, and very nice pool area! 2nd time... maybe not last. Recommended. Don't like the open shower, splitting water all around the restroom...
The cabins are beautiful and each one feels isolated giving a great sense of being in the forest. Professional staff, well organized, good food.
Perhaps inspired by CenterParcs but on a much smaller scale, this is a Fantastic wooded location for young families visiting the nearby town of Carcassonne, which about 10 minutes drive away. The cabins are built on a steep wooded hill, with access via a snaking gravel path. Cars must be left at reception, but a golf cart service takes you and your luggage to your cabin on arrival and back to your car at the end of your stay. Each cabin is on the slightly different level in the cabin next to it, giving a feeling of seclusion and privacy to each. The standard of the cabins is very high - in 2017 they looked near brand-new and well maintained, though I noticed that there isn't any aircon so they might get warm in the high summer. Food is of a good standard - typical french fairer - and is delivered in a traditional picnic basket to your cabin. There's a dining table inside the cabin and also a dining table on your personal veranda. The staff were down to earth friendly and professional - more so than I've found at corporate establishments - though for near-monoglots such as myself I would note that most things (for example the quite sophisticated treasure hunt for children and adults) are only in French - my French speaking wife did most of the talking so I'm not sure of the English of the staff though they seemed patient with our French and keen to understand and help. Overall, Cabines Dans Le Bois (Cabins in the Woods) comes across as a high quality, well run operation - the proprietor being actively involved in the day to day running of the establishment. If I were to suggest one improvement then it would be to extend WiFi from the reception to the cabins themselves - a tourist keen to avoid roaming charges this would be helpful but by no means a deal breaker.
Unique and luxury resort hidden in the woods.
Great place, great hosts, great food...
